Elizabeth (Lizzy) Bowler [left] and her mom, Susan Bowler [right], hosted Antipodes when they spent last fall in Tasmania competing in FLL and RoboCup Jr. (Dance Theatre World Champions) with Robosquad United and attending Ogilvie School for Girls. This fall the girls returned the favor by hosting Lizzy, making her a full member of Antipodes while she attended Terra Nova High School.

 

Susan is the head of Robotics Tasmania, where neither FTC nor FRC exist. Lizzy's full season in FTC, and Susan's attendance at the Daly City Qualifier, are a first step in bringing the higher FIRST leagues to "Tassie".
